Most student projects disappear after college exhibitions or remain hidden inside GitHub repositories that very few people ever discover. Recruiters rarely see them, juniors cannot learn from them, and potential collaborators never know they exist.
Projects represent hundreds of hours of learning, debugging, designing, and problem solving. They deserve more visibility than a forgotten repository.
That's why I'm building OneVector.
OneVector is a platform where students can showcase their projects, build a portfolio, discover amazing work from others, and connect with people who share similar interests. Instead of just uploading code, students can tell the story behind their projects, explain what they learned, share screenshots, link demos, and make their work accessible to everyone. In the future, I want OneVector to become much more than a project gallery. I want it to become a community where students find teammates, receive feedback, participate in hackathons, and even get discovered by recruiters and startups. If you're a student, builder, or someone who enjoys creating things, I hope OneVector becomes a place where your work gets the recognition it deserves.
This project is also my own learning journey. I'm building it from scratch while learning React, Node.js, databases, authentication, APIs, and system design. I'll be sharing the challenges, mistakes, and lessons I learn along the way..
